Finally another Daion electric has popped up for sale, this time on Ebay.com.au. One like this came up a while ago, not sure if it's the same one, but none the less it's another interesting variation from the norm.

Daion DA-71C Acoustic Guitar on Gumtree.com.au

There seems to be a flood of Daion Acoustic models popping up for sale recently, and here's another one, a DA-71C 6 string model.

It also comes with a Seiko ST-600 Quartz Tuner, soft case, picks and spare strings, and at an asking price of $200 would seem like a great buy.

Black "Tele" Style Daion Performer on Gumtree.com.au

Up on Gumtree.com.au is the far less commonly seen "Tele" style Daion Performer.

This one has the body finished in black with a black pickguard, vintage style three saddle bridge, lipstick neck pickup, maple neck with skunk stripe truss rod strip in the back, twin round string trees

I've always wanted a traditional "Tele" style guitar even though my '72 Deluxe Re-issue Tele is beautiful, and if this one wasn't so far away I think I'd be very tempted to by it myself!

Daion D117A-1CH Acoustic on Ebay.com.au

Electrics seem to have become a bit thin on the ground lately, but here's another acoustic to keep you Daion fans happy for now.

"For auction is A Daion mini jumbo steel string 1984 in Sunburst Cherry in very good condition with one minor blemish on the front upper bout and a few playing marks as you would expect from a 30 year old guitar it has excellent sound and playability the bass response and middle upper are very good and has a BIG sound for a mini jumbo and would not disappoint any guitarist

It is a spruce top with mahogany back and sides it has no inbuilt amplifier but I have been using it with a Barcus Berry sound hole mic and it sounds great thru an amp

Daion were a Japanese manufacturer who went broke in 1994 but from the early 70's till then made good quality copies of American guitars and are still highly prized by fans of Japanese guitars of that era this one was made when they first moved to Korea and is still in very good nick"

http://www.gumtree.com.au/Daion 12 String Acoustic Mark I 12

"This 12-string acoustic guitar has a fantastic Japanese tone, hard to replicate with modern guitars. It is a solid top Daion, made in Japan in the early 1980s. The model is a Mark-I-12.

It is in good condition for the age, with some usual wear and small dings across the body as shown in the pictures. The neck is in great shape, no buzzing, and good action. One slightly bent machine head, but all functioning perfectly.

Daion Performer in Black with Hum-Single-Hum Pickups on Ebay.com.au

A slightly different style Daion Performer has popped up on Ebay.com.au.

This one is more of a "Metal" style unit as opposed to the traditional Strat style. The body shape has the elongated horns a 5 way switch but only a single volume and tone control, and has a humbucker at the neck and bridge positions, with a normal single coil in the middle position.

The headstock is quite pointy in shape and also features a black triangular truss rod cover, along with a single round string tree.

There's not too much info on it, but like always, the link to the auction, seller comments and pics are below.

Daion electric guitar hardly ever used.

Strings need attention, comes with a pack of strings, Squier amplifier hardly used in great condition, the bag is as new.
