Strat Style Daion Performer (possibly Korean) Project Guitar on Gumtree.com.au

Seller is not sure, but from what I've gathered the plywood bodies are usually the later Korean made ones, although the necks still appear to be up to the same high standard, maybe they are all left overs from the Japanese made parts?

This one has a sunburst body and maple neck, and with a bit of work could no doubt be a nice guitar again.

Had plans to rebuild this+ upgrade all the hardware , but unfortunately not enough time or cash to see it through.
Daion Strat Neck + Body. Jap or Korean, not 100% sure even after net searching. maybe early or late 80s?

Three Tone Sunburst Daion Performer on Gumtree.com.au

This is a bit of an interesting one, in that I've not seen this style of Rockson logo on the headstock.

It's a vintage style three tone sunburst finish Daion Rockson, with a white pickguard, pickup covers and control knobs, Daion style bridge with solid saddles, a rosewood fret board, twin pressed string trees, and vintage split Kluson style machine heads.

This one is for sale with an asking price of AU $150.00 and would be a lovely addition to anyone's collection at that price.

Aged White Finish Daion Performer on Gumtree.com.au

On Gumtree.com.au is a Daion Performer in a lovely creamy buttery yellow colour very similar to how genuine early Olympic White Strat's end up.

This one has a humbucker in the bridge position and two single coils in the middle and neck position, a Wilkinson bridge, maple neck, twin round string trees on the headstock, a black nut, bullet truss rod and a set of Gotoh tuners.

With the upgraded bridge and tuners, the asking price of AU $120.00, this has to be a great buy for the Daion fan.

Red Made In Japan Vintage "Strat" Style Daion Performer on Ebay.com.au

Well, I say it's on ebay.com.au but the first I saw of it it was already sold, so I dare say someone snapped it up quick smart. It had a buy it now of AU$350 which included a Crate amp.

It's another traditional Vintage "Strat" style Daion Performer, a lovely red in colour (very similar to Dakota red) with a white pickguard and pickup covers, lightly yellowing control knobs, and a chrome bridge. The neck features a rosewood fretboard, and that typical of Daion beautifully tinted neck and headstock, the headstock featuring a single pressed string tree and vintage Kluson style split tuners.

Hi guys, this auction is for a very very rare Daion lawsuit era electric guitar, you know what copy... 

The guitar was made in Japan, and as you can see from the pictures is in excellent shape considering is more than 30 years old, neck is amazing, frets still have lots of life in them, some nicks and small dents but all in all a very attractive guitar.

The guitar comes with a fresh set of Ernie Ball 10s, the action is purposely high because that is the way I like on a Strat! I'm including a nice crate fw15r amplifier with 12" woofer and spring reverb, very very nice clean sound!

It really has been a flood of traditional "Strat" style Red Daion Performer/Rockson models lately, and here's another one.

This one is again very much a vintage style Performer model, red in colour with a white pickguard and pickup covers and tremolo arm tip, slightly yellowing control knobs and the bridge features the pressed steel saddles. The neck features a rosewood fret board and a beautifully tinted back and headstock, this seems to be a feature of the Daion's, supurb neck shape and a delightful colour The headstock has the same tint to it, a single pressed string tree, and vintage "Kluson" style split tuners.

This one is starting at AU$199.00 and I would tend to think is a great buy at that price, but I may be biased.

It's been a busy few weeks for Daion's, plenty have popped up recently, and here's another one. This is a traditional "Strat" style Perfoemer, black in body colour, with a white pickguard, black pickup covers and control knobs and a chrome bridge, a lovely rosewood fretboard on a beautifully amber tinted neck and headstock, twin round string trees and chrome machine heads.

For the low asking price of AU$110.00 it also comes with a small amp, how could you go wrong?

I recently came across a Daion Performer Stratocaster from the late 1980's or early 1990's which I was told has been left in its case for about 20 years. It comes with a Park amplifier, 10 watt.

I have restrung the guitar, oiled the neck and replaced the pickguard to a white one. Not sure where it is made, possibly Japan.

It is quite mint in condition with no cracks or dents. It plays nicely and would suit a player or collector.

Korean Made Red Daion Performer with Maply Neck on Ebay.com.au

Here's another tradition "Strat" style Daion Performer, a made in Korea version in a slightly darker red than the last few that have come through. I'm no expert but it's much more of a Dakota red and a nice change from the brighter reds.

It features a white pickguard, pickup covers and control knobs, maple neck, chrome finish vintage style bridge, bullet truss rod, twin round string trees and chrome macine heads.

Very nice 80's Daion Performer. Made in Korea, has all the classic Fender 50's style + fat chunky frets and a heavy body.

It is a keeper but sadly I am selling most of my collection so it's someone's chance to own this sweet guitar.

Will be posting with the neck removed for safety + Australia Post are getting way too pricey. Will include 2 sets of strings.

Really nice bass from the 80s, good make, not many of these bass versions around any more - particularly in such original condition. 

Looks great, sounds great. Purchased as an experiment, to see if I fancied the bass. Turns out I just don't have the time to learn a new instrument - and my fingers are not nimble enough anyway!
