Ovation Style Daion DV95 Electric Acoustic on Ebay.com.au

Here's something a little different from the Daion stable, an Ovation like Daion DV95 Electric Acoustic!

I've not come across one of these before, so for the Daion collector who wants something a little different this could be just what you are looking for.

I've had this guitar sitting around the studio for many years now.  It's been well loved and well cared for.  Tonally, it's a C&W dream with a sound reminiscent of the old Ibanez Ragtime series.  Not muted but with strong mids.

Model-wise, it's an obscure beast but it's the top of the line from Daion and they cycle out through the years on Ebay fetching some serious prices.  I've taken it live a couple of times (using front of house) and it excelled for some wonderful acoustic gigs.

Beautiful fast neck and on-built piezo give it a wide spectrum for sound. Great starting price for the discerning buyer. Ships with hard case.

Black Over White Crackle Finish Daion Performer on Ebay.com.au AND Gumtree.com.au

Finally, after a glut of acoustics, a Daion Performer Electric has broken the drought.

This one is your typical 'Strat" style Performer, featuring a lovely full maple neck with the dark "skunk stripe" on the back, and obvious sings of use on the fret board (which I think looks cool when it's genuine from lots of playing), single round string tree on the headstock, yellowing pickup covers and control knobs (again very cool when genuine), and a rather out there black over white crackle finish to the paint.

Personally I'd love that neck on my Surf Green Daion Rockson project guitar, as I'm a real maple fret board kind of guy, and this neck looks particularly good to me.

Not a lot is said about it, but this guitar does its own talking, and like always, link, seller comments (from ebay and gumtree) and pics are below.

Daion Electric Acoustic 6-String on Gumtree.com.au

And here's yet another Daion Electric Acoustic up for sale!

Link, comments and pics below.

Hey I'm selling my first guitar! I've played this for the past 20 years and I'm guessing its about 35 years old.

A cool sounding dreadnought, with a factory fitted magnetic pickup in the 19th fret. No case sorry.

Korean Made Daion 12 String Electric Acoustic D124 12-E on Gumtree.com.au

Another 12-String for the acoustic lovers.

"This is one of the most beautiful sounding guitars I have ever played and heard. I love it, but do not play it enough. I am a four string player.

From my research I have found that it is a Korean made Daion 12 string, model D124 12-E. All mahogany dreadnought (not sure if laminate or solid).  The guitar cannot be dated by serial number but likely to be from the early 1980's.

There are minor scratches in the finish, and the blacking on the fretboard (which was either part of the factory finish or professionally done) has worn off through play, but overall this guitar is in very good condition. That's about it.

The guitar has an integral pickup located underneath the fretboard, Daion and a very few other guitar makers were the only ones to do this.

Guitar lovers will certainly love this beauty."
