Red "P Bass" Style Daion Bass on Guntree.com.au
For those four string players out there, here's a nice bright red Daion Bass in the traditional "P Bass" style, featuring an all maple neck, black faced headstock, and at $60 would seem a great entry into the world of playing bass.

Nice red 4 string electric bass. I bought it off a muso thinking it was 3/4 sized...
In fact it is full sized (34" from the nut to the bridge).. My kid's arms aren't that long yet, so I offer it back to the world of gummers...at the same bargain price I bought it for $60....
Nice bass actually if you are after a full sized bass. Brand is Daion and it plays fine. You are welcome to plug it in here and test it... cheer

Three Tone Sunburst Daion Performer on Ebay in the United Kingdom!
I know this is supposed to be Daion Guitars "Down Under", but sometimes a Daion pops up from somewhere else in the world that's worthy of a look.
This time it's a beautiful 70's "Strat" style Daion Performer in a wonderful sunburst finish, with a maple fretboard and the funky large headstock.
I haven't worked out fully which Daion Performers have the "Epochal Rod System" Truss Rod Adjustment and which ones don't, but this one's got it.
There are substantial seller comments, and like always, comments, link and pics are below.

1970's Daion (Yamaki) Performer Strat for sale.
This high quality jap guitar is in great shape for a guitar thats heading towards 40 years old and everything works as it should.
Everything on this guitar oozes quality and this model was a higher end model with Yamaki build quality through and through.
The Senn Ash body has a nice weight to it without being a boat anchor.
The neck again is a very comfortable Soft V at the nut great for chord work, going into a lovely Rounded C as you go up the fretboard to the dusty end, this is something you only find on hi end guitars.
The "Epochal Rod System" truss rod adjustment is similar to what you find on Warmoth necks where you can tweak the trussrod without having to slacken the strings off.The pickups sound sweet and the five way gives all the usual inbetween tones as expected on a strat.
Yamaki never did sell loads of guitars in the uk so the brand is pretty much a rarity and in my opinion theyre a future classic as prices start to rise on these quality Jap guitars.
The guitar has dings and scratches over the body and the lacquer on the neck has worn through in places, but if it was prestine it wouldnt be right as these guitars are tools for playing not looking at.
Why buy an artificially worn guitar when you can buy the genuine article thats seen some good use over the years, it sounds and feels great just like comfy old worn slippers.
I'm based in exeter and you're welcome to come and pick it up
Ive priced the shipping to include insurance with a reputable courier. Please dont bother emailing to say that i can get it sent cheaper.. The parcelmonkeys hermes etc dont insure musical instruments so i wont use them.
Email for more info etc
Oversea's buyers please ask for shipping costs
Cheers for looking

and it doesnt have a thin veneer over a piece of crap wood. :)

Madrid Red Daion Performer on Ebay.com.au & Gumtree.com.au
Gee it's been Daion Electric week this week!
Here's another "Strat" style Daion Performer. Finished in a bright Madrid Red colour, it features a lovely maple neck (just to tease me) with the skunk stripe on the back, the headstock features a single string tree and vintage Kluson style split tuners, the pick guard is white, as are the pickup covers and control knobs which have taken on a slightly aged colour, and the bridge is in a chromed finish with vintage style saddles.

Amazing Daion Performer "Flying V"
This is a special one, not for sale, but a follower of this blog
wanting to share his amazing Daion Performer "Flying V" with everyone.
I was going to wait until I had more details on this one before posting it up, but the details can wait, this has to be seen, NOW!!!
I will update this post with more information as it comes to hand, but for now, enjoy the pics of the very cool Daion from down under.

Daion Savage with GK-2A Pickup and Kahler Trem
This is a real rarity in Australia, what looks to be a Daion Savage, which from what I have seen are few and far between down under.
However, this one looks like it's had some mods, and certainly looks like it's seen some action going by the various marks, dings, bumps and scratches on it.
It looks to be a single pickup model, which again is somewhat rare anywhere, and has had a Roland GK-2A (midi?) pickup, and a Kahler Trem.
The seller hasn't provided much information at all, so what you see is what you get.
Buy It Now price is AU $595.00.
