Another one of the all black Daion Performers has come up for sale on Gumtree.com.au
Like the others that have come up before, this one follows the black body, pick guard, pickup covers and control knob theme, with a rosewood fret board, and twin round string trees on the natural finish headstock.

"Les Paul" Style Daion Guitar on Ebay.com.au
Now here's something you don't see every day, a "Les Paul" style Daion. We see plenty of "Strat" style Daions, but I think this is about the first of this style I have seen for sale here in Australia.
The seller has written some detailed notes so I'll let them speak for themselves, except to add that for a starting bid of AU$250 this would be a good score for the Daion enthusiast, and something you certainly won't come across too often.

Daion Les Paul copy made in Japan , I believe in 1978 in the Dyna Gakki factory it had a sticker (made in Japan) on the Neck heel it came off years ago , I have owned her for over 15 years and it's never let me down.
One piece Mahogany Neck , 22 fret ebonised fretboard , Mother of pearl inlays.
Body is Chambered pancake Mahogany with a Maple top. The chamber is between Mahogany and Maple in the arch , where the pickup's sit giving her a rich full sound.
The guitar is in great condition for her age , no dings but has light scratches. Head stock has small crack from top to first machine head (D tuner) , was filled with glue 15 years ago and has not moved, does not go all the way though head stock.
Pick up from 4211, I am also happy to work with a courier of your choice Cash on pick up or paypal accepted.
Will take neck off to make postage cheaper.
I'm sad to see her go but bills need to be paid.

Black with Maple Neck Daion Performer on Ebay.com.au
This black Daion Performer is a little rough around the edges, but none the less with a bit of TLC I'm sure it would be a decent instrument, although I may be biased!
This one is black in colour, with a white pick guard and very nicely ages yellowing pickup covers and control knobs. The neck is maple which looks nicer then the rosewood fingerboard versions with the black body, the headstock features a single round string tree, and the "bullet" style truss rod is present.

Vintage DAION performer 6 String Acoustic Electric Guitar.
DOES PLAY - how well I don't know, I have no technical knowledge.
There is signs of wear & tear, needs to be re strung, CONSIDER IT FOR REPAIR.
