It's funny the small variations in equipment these guitars have, this one has the very vintage style "Kluson" looking split tuners and twin pressed string trees, but has the more modern style bridge saddles, not the early pressed style.
This is fine looking instrument, and if it's anything like the two Rockson MDL's I have the neck will be awesome, and it will be a great guitar.

History:
These
guitars were built during the "golden era" of expendable quality timber
and lawsuits against Japanese manufacturers who were making copies of
certain big brand names. It was argued that some even exceeded in
quality to their Western counterparts and were sold at a more affordable
price.
The Daion guitar manufacturer was founded in 1962 by Yasuyuki
Teradaira. Maker of house brand Daion guitars, along with JooDee and
Johnson badged guitars. JooDee was made by master guitar luthier Shiro
Tsuji. Outsourced work to maker Yamaki. Daion went out of business
shortly after 1984.
Daion Rockson MDL Electric Guitar
Red
in colour with plenty of bite. Fast neck action, white pick guard, aged
control knobs and a rosewood fret board which is in great condition by
the way, just look at the photos for yourself.
The headstock and neck is
beautifully aged and features very sexy Kluson style split tuners with
twin pressed steel string trees oohhhh yeah baby. As every vintage
guitar would, this has a few wears on the body but will need to be
viewed in strong light to see anything.
This
"Strat" style gem is an affordable alternative to the real thing and
will make you look and sound like a certain influential guitarist from a
band called D*** Str**ts.
I look after my babies very well, I guarantee
you this instrument plays and sounds like a dream. Buyer will not be
disappointed.
