Maple Neck Daion Performer at Music Swap Shop

Music Swap Shop in Victoria seem to often have Daion's for sale, they must agree they are a good instrument for the money and sell well.

This is a typical "Strat" style Daion Performer, grey in body colour with a white pick guard, a lovely maple neck, and a set of Seymor Duncan pickups.

For the asking price of AU$250 how could you go wrong!

Metallic Grey "Metal" style Daion Performer on Ebay.com.au

This is about as far away from the traditional "Strat" style as it gets, a metallic grey coloured Daion Performer that just screams "METAL"!

This one looks to the full check list of items for ripping off those Metallica style riffs, Floyd Rose style trem, locking nut, two single coils with a humbucker in the bridge position, heavily contoured body more like a Gibson SG, pointy black faced headstock with black tuners, with all pickup covers, control knobs and sundry items in, you guessed it, black!

It looks to be in fantastic condition, and while probably not quite right for that Shadows cover band player, it'll slip right into any metal'esque setting without any troubles at all.

Ok, so it's not a spot on Mark Knopfler replica, but the red body, white pick guard and maple neck has that classic mid 80's Dire Straits look to it. With a bit of a clean up and some new old looking control knobs, a head band, wrist bands, and a whole lot of talent you could be belting out those classics.

For the starting price of AU$100.00, and the extra stuff it comes with, it could be a good buy for someone who's happy with a "fixer upper" that has a classic vibe.

Guitar is 6 string, some scratching and a mark on the white panel, 3 adjuster knobs are missing. Cover plate on back is missing, no cracks or damage to neck of guitar.

Along with the Guitar there is a Jade 12 amplifier which is in good working order.

Also there is Zoom 505 compact multi effects processor, 2  leads, a spare guitar sting, and a book, 101 songs for easy guitar.

These items belonged to my son, he had them for some years and does not use then anymore.
